Print Production Manager - Los Angeles

The Print Production Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of print production, ensuring high-quality materials are produced on time and within budget. This role involves coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to deliver optimal results.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in print production management, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

  • Highly skilled in Adobe Creative Suite and graphic design.

  • Experience in cutting and installing various graphics, shapes, sizing, die cuts, and large-scale vinyl printing.

  • Strong understanding of printing techniques and processes.

  • Excellent communication skills for managing vendor and client relationships.

  • Strong organizational skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive electronic PDF files, format, edit, and send them to digital printers.

  • Manage and direct production to ensure products are of top quality, ship on time, and are properly packaged.

  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Production Manager, and Shop Manager to ensure all graphic elements are printed and ready for install in coordination with the overall production schedule.

  • Advise clients on printing projects, recommending cost-effective options.

  • Grant final internal approval on all artwork, copy, formats, mock-ups, and proofs.

  • Maintain client-facing tracking systems, provide clients with print proofs, and track client approval.

  • Perform layout and job setup to ensure cost-effective use of equipment (computer and printing) and materials while meeting customer requirements and timeframes.

  • Provide assistance with graphic design as needed.

Draftsman - Los Angeles

Responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and schematics using various design tools to support project planning and execution. This role involves collaboration with engineers and architects to ensure designs meet project specifications and standards, as well as providing visual representations through animations and 2D drawings.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD.

  • Familiarity with Sketchup, MicroStation, SolidWorks, and Revit is a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail and precision in work.

  • Knowledge of drafting techniques, standards, and symbols.

  • Previous experience in drafting or a related field, particularly in entertainment or theatrical contexts.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed drawings using software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, and other design tools.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in carpentry, preferably in live event or show environments.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents for live event setups.

  • Proficiency in using woodworking tools and machinery to cut, shape, and assemble materials with precision.

  • Ensure all builds meet our high standards of quality, durability, and safety.

  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and executing physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel for on-site installations and event setups.
